Badges
in the Junior Section Achievement
Scheme |
|
Introduced
in 1966. Following the gain of a number of "achievements"
round plastic badges are awarded at six stages, white, green,
purple, blue, red and gold. |

|
The
Gold
Achievement Badge (1993- ) |
|
This
badge was introduced in 1993. And replaced the previous Barrel
shaped Gold Achievement Badge. It also replaces the plastic
Gold Achievement Badge of the Junior Section. This Badge is gained in the Junior
Section and transferred to the boys Company Section awards on
promotion top the Company Section. |

The
Junior
Section Service Badges |
|
These
Service badges were introduced in 1982. They are small round
plastic badges and denote length of service in Anchor Boys and
Junior Section. Numbers 1 - 6 worn in the centre of the
Achievement Scheme armband. |

|
|
The
Anchor Achievement Badge
|
|
Introduced
in 1997 this is the only proficiency badge issued in the Anchor Boys and
requires 10 Basic Anchor Achievement to be completed in their
final year in the Anchor Boys. |
